Authority: Protection Officer (PO) / Local Police

Process: File a Domestic Incident Report (DIR) with a PO or the police, who will forward it to the Magistrate to initiate legal proceedings for protection, maintenance, or custody.

Authority: One Stop Centre (Sakhi)

Process: These centers provide integrated support, including medical, legal, and psychological help, as well as temporary shelter for women facing violence.
